FAQ

WHO CAN ATTEND PROM?

Any student that is in their Junior or Senior years may attend. Be sure to check the "Prom Guidelines" information sheet that will be handed out to you when you purchase your ticket(s) for further details.

WHO CAN I BRING TO PROM?

You may bring any student that is a Junior or Senior. If your guest is from another school, is a junior or senior, and is in good standing, they may  come. However, an exception would be this example: If your boyfriend was a junior but got expelled, he cannot come as your date.

You may also bring someone that is out of high school if said person is under 21 years old. Students outside of East/North/CSA have to register their guest when they buy tickets. The final decision of whether or not a guest is approved lies with the deans/administrators. ALL guests MUST be registered in the Dean's Office by 1:00 PM on Friday May 6th......No exceptions.....

SO IF I'M A FRESHMAN AND MY BOYFRIEND IS A SENIOR, I CAN GO TO PROM, RIGHT?

No. Unfortunately you will have to wait until your Junior and Senior years to attend prom.

BUT WHAT IF I'M WILLING TO GIVE UP ATTENDING PROM MY JUNIOR OR SENIOR YEAR?

Sorry, the answer is still no.

WHAT CAN I WEAR TO PROM?

This is a formal occasion, however school dress codes still apply. Any student or prom attendee in violation of dress code will be asked to leave the prom.

Exception: We do not allow students to wear strappy clothes to school, but strapless dresses/spaghetti straps are fine at prom. We want to emphasize NO JEANS and guys need to wear ties.

CAN I BRING MY CAMERA OR PHONE INTO PROM?

Of course! Just remember to hold onto it. Read more about the photography we will be offering on the DETAILS page.

WILL THERE BE SOMEWHERE FOR ME TO STORE MY COAT?

We will again offer a coat check, free of charge.

WILL THERE BE DINNER SERVED AT PROM?

No, but there will be light desserts and water available.

CAN MY PARENTS COME INTO THE COMMONS TO TAKE PICTURES?

Parents may take as many pictures as they would like near the red carpet (the entrance). However, they will not be able to enter after that.

HOW IS PROM COURT DETERMINED?

Prom court will be made up of seniors from all three schools. Seniors nominate and then later vote for the king and queen. Visit the COURT page to find out more information.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME TO PROM, OTHER THAN MY TICKET?

You MUST HAVE A SCHOOL ID to buy a ticket and to get into prom. Read the DETAILS page to find out more about purchasing tickets.
